Hooked on beads since childhood after receiving a bead loom as a gift from my sister (forever grateful to Maureen!).

Easily distracted by shiny things. Sometimes think my passion is shopping for beads and supplies more than using them! Peyote stitch is my current favorite stitch, but the right angle weave is a fun one too, then there is the herringbone stitch, ... hmm.

I grew up Rochester, NY and lived in Colorado for 20+ Years. I worked as a software design engineer for HP for 12 years before becoming a stay at home beader & mom to two boys. Moved back to the Rochester area in 2003 and found Studio 34 Beads while searching for supplies and a local group of beaders.

Hooked on internet bead related information and shopping. I put together  a web page of beading related links to guide me.
